HOW TO ELICIT YOUR INTUITION

Intuition is defined as revelation. Revelation means something revealed. When you meet a person who wants to be with you or a person whom you like, do you appreciate the fact that a higher power reveals the person’s intentions or what the end result of your relationship with the person will be? Can you appreciate your intuition and what it will do for you? We all have intuition, but how do you recognize it communicating to you and learn how to get it to help you and guide you? This chapter offers some strategies.

How do you know a person is your soulmate? Soulmates are a man and a woman who are... Part of learning to use your intuition is cultivating it. The seed is already in your heart... It is important to understand that your intuition cannot guide you if you think you know it all... Your intuition will not tell you what you want to hear. Sometimes people will tell you what you want to hear just so that they can get what they want from you.

Is it possible to date a soulmate and still lose the person? Absolutely. For example, a 30-year-old Japanese woman asked me for help as to how intuition works. When we were done talking, the woman realized she knew who her soulmate was. Upon arriving in Japan, she demanded that they get married after just one month of dating. While she made such a demand, she also told her soulmate that she hated children and did not want to have any. This is an example of a person who is interested only in what she wants. She ended up leaving the soulmate because he would not rush to marry her in the time frame she wanted.

An example of a man who lost his soulmate is Anthony. He was in a relationship for several years. Finally the two became engaged. Prior to the marriage, Anthony asked his fiancée to sign a prenuptial agreement. The woman became very offended, rightfully so, and she broke off their engagement. There was a chance for them to get back together but Anthony was too protective of his money. He refused to reunite unless the woman signed an agreement. The woman left him. A year later she met another man, got married, and started a family soon after that. As for Anthony, he went from one woman to the other.

About two years after losing his soulmate, Anthony found another woman whom he felt was his soulmate. It was the happiest he had ever been, and two weeks into that new relationship, he was considering marriage. However, he decided that since the woman was in school training for a new career and she also had a daughter, he did not want to take on the additional financial burden. I pleaded with him to be reasonable. “But you told me how happy the two of you are together. You have been showing pictures of her to all your friends and telling them the two of you will marry. If you had a son, you met a woman who was your soulmate, yet she rejected you because she’d rather marry a man who did not have a son already, how would you feel?” Anthony replied, “Yeah, you’re right. I shouldn’t let her schooling or daughter stop us.”

After this conversation, Anthony still went ahead and broke up with the woman. The sad part is he went back to his old ways, going from one woman to the other. While he was doing this, he would continually come to me to tell me how lonely he felt. I once asked him: “The last time you came to speak with me, you told me you had just found the most beautiful woman, blonde, blue eyes, busty, and all that. Is not that what you always wanted? If you are still feeling alone when you have that kind of woman, what does that mean, Anthony?” Anthony told me he had contacted his ex, who was married with a child, and his ex had told him her husband loved her yet she felt alone and empty. Anthony also felt lonely and empty, so he wanted to get back with his ex. I cautioned that she was married and he should not break up her marriage. If she felt unfulfilled and wanted to leave, that was a decision she must make on her own.

As you can see, you can be in a love relationship and still feel alone and empty. It all depends on the person you are with and whether the two of you are meant to be together or not. During the next three years, I contacted Anthony. Anthony was still dating yet feeling lonely. When he did meet women, he couldn’t stop telling them about his lost love. His dates left him because it was obvious his heart was still with his soulmate. I have found that many of the men and woman I have advised are feeling what Anthony is feeling and are doing as Anthony does on his dates. My suggestion is to go about your dating and love life the right way from the start. This will help you avoid problems in the future. If you are already in a relationship with your soulmate, nurture it.

Obstacles can and do become part of the way we think and form a pattern. If you are not careful, you will find yourself committed to obstacles that are a detriment to your love life. Use your power position to bring you closer to the person. Make time to elicit your intuition.
